My family and I would like to
thank everyone at River Runners
for a wonderful river rafting
experience! To begin, we'd like
to mention Pam, who works in
reservations. She was so nice
and helpful and was always
prompt with a reply to all of
our many questions! Next, what
can we say about our awesome
river guide and magnificent
chef, Hillary! What a lovely,
lovely woman! Beautiful,
knowledgeable, informative, fun,
and a more than amazing river
guide! We couldn't be happier
that she was the person who took
our daughters, Lily...age 15 and
Izabelle....age 11, on their
first rafting experience! Oh,
and Hillary, many thanks for
"saving" Izabelle after she went
"overboard"! Hahaha! We feel
Izabelle came away from this
trip having faced her biggest
fear (which of course was
falling out of the raft) ......a
much stronger and confident
young lady! Next to Daniel!
Thank you for the yummy grub and
good laughs! Thanks to Jon for
the lifts to and from the river!
The River Runners camp was great
and the food was fantastic! The
river and scenic views were
beautiful and the rapids were
thrilling! We met many nice
people and our family will
remember this trip fondly with
smiles on our faces......as we
can see by the pictures of our
daughter, Lily, who is literally
smiling in every picture that
was taken! We have already
talked about coming back and
have recommended River Runners
to all of our family and
friends! Thanks again River

What an amazing vacation we had! My
family and I are still talking about the
trip and now we have more confidence to

Dear
Pam & Crew,
We
DID have a great time.
I
just wanted you to know how much I enjoyed and
appreciated everything the crew did for us. We
enjoy camping as our main recreation (in
Michigan) and I know how much work it is. I
have never camped like this before. To have the
tents set up and the use of your sleeping bags
and all the wonderful meals prepared for us was
a blessing. I love to cook and I felt the food
was prepared with quality ingredients, care and
love. I also saw the awesome garden on the
grounds (and the deer stalking it!) The staff
also had a benevolent outlook on the skunks,
which was wonderful, a great example on so many
levels.
Matt
was our guide: we loved his easy, natural,
mastery of the raft and his
unassuming confidence and sense of adventure on
the water, as well as his historical knowledge
of the area. I enjoyed every moment on the
water, it was so beautiful. The excitement on
the rapids was the icing on the cake. It was a
blast, I can speak as a hood ornament : )
River
Runners is a special group that really felt like
a family to me. I loved the fact you are an
independent goup that allowed us to do things
like jump into the river where the other, more
corporate outfits, wouldn't.
I
can't say how much fun we had and how great all
the River Runners' staff were each and every
individual. What a special experience!
I just wanted to send a
friendly email to let you know how much fun our group
had! This was my second 2-day trip this summer. I look
forward to next season! I will definitely be there
again, and I will be bringing more people with me to
experience this great outdoor adventure.

great as yours, and I think they are the best! Our guide
was Joe T. & I think he’s such an awesome person!
On behalf
of Joe, Dianna,Eric and Jered we would like to thank
you for making our experience on the river such a
great one. We enjoyed every aspect of our adventure
from great food to running the river,we appreciate
the hard work it took to make it all happen and look
forward to bringing our granddaughters on our next
adventure. So don't think you've seen the last of
us. Thank you to everyone but especially John and
Joe who provided laughs and thoughtful care to meet
our every needs. Please keep up the good work the
world needs more caring people such as yourselves.
Just
wanted to say THANKS for the fun experience we will
not forget! We were looking for a chance to get away
from "life" for a few days. Well, you all provided
that for us. We had a chance to laugh, experience
some exciting rapids, eat great food and enjoy the
beautiful outdoors. Not having to bring tents or
food was especially nice. We felt so spoiled! Your
Guides were wonderful. We really appreciated all of
their hard work. A special thanks to our guide
Chris, who was just awesome! On our drive back home,
there was nothing but positive comments all around.
We just wanted to express our
thoughts on how incredibly awesome
our family's weekend was when we
experienced a RiverRunners
weekend!....From the time we signed
up for the trip, through the end,
ALL of the staff was so personable,
informative, and FUN! We were
totally impressed with the amount of
food, the menu offered, and the
humor with which it was served. We
also loved that the Guides made us
each feel comfortable and safe, yet
gave the waters a fun twist. (no pun
intended haha) We commend the
owners and the staff for a job well
done, and we can't wait to plan our
trip next year! We have told many
people how great of a weekend this
truly was!
Two years
ago I decided to go rafting after 18 years since
the last time. I happened to end up on the same
boat as two of the companies owners; Pam and
Richard. I had such a great time both days; the
staff was super friendly (and very funny); the
food was delicious, you could say
gourmet cookout and you don't have to bring
tents! I love that. Anyway, I went back the
next weekend and 2 more times that summer
bringing family and friends. Needless to say
I'm addicted. Last year I went 5 times and I
just booked my first trip for this year! I'm
can't wait to see the staff; who always make me
feel like family. Thanks for the new hobby!
Just wanted to let you know my group had a great time
this weekend. I haven’t heard anything but rave reviews
on every aspect – from the welcoming setup of tents at
our late night arrival, the coffee in the morning, the
food (ALL of it), the guides, the equipment… Everyone
had a blast – we definitely met the objective to get our
“work-life balance” back in balance.
They are so excited about this last weekend they’ve
already started talking about trying to go again before
the summer is out!

To Camp Lotus and Riverrunner Guides: Wow!!!!! We had a fabulous time this weekend, better than we expected. We Loved all of it!!! The campsites and facilities were clean and we especially liked the emphasis on recycling. The guys at the store were really helpful!!!You all did a great job on the food, and the presentation was great. Your special personal touches made it expecially tasty, and we really appreciate the work you did to make it all happen. We've held several camping trips and did our own cooking, and you guys made it look soooooo much easier!!!
The rafting was fantastic!!! You did a great job of settling our concerns and making us f
eel comfortable in a much different sport. Even the guys who went on an unepected body surf ride had a great time.
We appreciate the patience and help with the sign-ups, it's hard to get us all together and you made it all work for us. Thanks to all of you for being such a great TEAM!!!! We Love You Guys!!!!

My first trip with River Runners was so thrilling that I made it a point to return to the River Runners camp with my family and friends on subsequent rafting trips. I have had a blast taking on the rapids of the South Fork with the skilled, entertaining and enormously hospitable guides. The food is great, the camp is comfortable and the rafting is an adventure.
My expectations of a rafting adventure were not only met but greatly surpassed by the entire team at River Runners.

Your crew puts out some good karma, along with confidence building skills for us neophytes to navigate the river. Your food and service hit the spot. Of the rafting companies I saw on the river, River Runners was the best.
At 58, and years after my back surgery, I never thought you would find me river rafting.
The south fork of the American River was simply awesome, inspiring, magnificent...I was forced by nature to yell with glee at the top of my lungs many times.

Just wanted to let you know we had a blast on the river. Our guides were Dan and John - they were great. Our only request is that you warm the water up by a couple of degrees we'd really appreciate it.
My friend who lives in Placerville is already telling everyone he knows to take a trip with your company - he and his wife loved the trip and plan to do day 2 - the rougher rapids - very soon.
